In in advance(p) American companionship, rap artists feel that they must coincide with societies view of thug rappers, by hardening their image. To Americans, raps image is ill-famed for hood rich lifestyles, danger, and attributes such as machine guns and silencers (Tucker 326). Cynthia Tucker expresses her belief that, Gansta rap is fueling a thug culture, that is destroying the lives of black Americans by glorifying military unit (326). Tucker too feels that double standard exists in which rap artists of Caucasian neat are unable to glorify the same level of violence and disobedience in which African American entertainers portray. America embodies the ruling that violence and anarchy is acceptable and expected from entertainers of African descent. mend considering the act of a white entertainer to exhibit the same qualities as taboo and uncivilized (Tucker 327). In my own opinion, I believe that societies views are only half correct. Tuckers belief that we the people are fueling the violence by embracing role models , whose value lie with
cooking break off and gang banging. Vice versa these entertainers are making immense amounts of money, which as result increases the level of violence they project on society. This takes a large toll on especially our youth because their childhood is a period in their life, where they absorb most of their amount values, which inevitably reflects on their actions as adults.
