It took determination, a lot of studying and two forms, but I finally managed to pass the Algebra II trig Regents. Some unfermented York crops changed the curriculum, and instead of teaching Geometry before Algebra II Trigonometry, they reversed it to match the more difficult Regents exams. The problem with that was that students werent learning the sort math subtopics that were going to be on the see. The first Algebra II Trigonometry Regents that I took in June 2010 was after completing the correct wide of the mark year course. When I first opened the test, I realized that some of the topics included were never taught. I didnt miss any math classes throughout the year, so I didnt understand why the questions were so difficult. I was nervous to get my test results back, and rightfully so. I didnt pass. The mishap rate was somewhere around 75% for that June Regents. Shocked and disappointed, I planned to take the class during the summer and retake the test in August 2010. Basically giving up my absolute summer, I woke up early five days a week to get to class and in August, took the exam for the chip metre. Again, I didnt pass. My parents and I were very frustrated, and I added the Algebra II Trigonometry class to my schedule for my jr. year.



The junior year in high school is known for its difficulty and importance, so the added stress of Algebra II Trigonometry, it was harder for me to focus on the core classes for junior year. I had an extra period at the end of the school day for this math class. I was winning Geometry as a regular junior year course and the Algebra II Trigonometry class was becoming very repetitive. I took the regents for the third time in January 2011 and again, I didnt pass. I continued taking the Algebra II Trigonometry class after school, and again took the regents in June of 2011. I passed all my other regents tests including Geometry that month and when I got my results for the Algebra II Trigonometry Regents, I started crying.
