Nowadays, many organizations kick in a number of models and questionnaires when recruiting new employees or managers; in doing so, the kind-hearted resource department is able to measure an applicants emotional experience. According to A Dictionary of Education (2011), Howard Gardner front defined emotional intelligence as the ability to presuppose and act from a position of awareness of ones own emotions and with sensitivity to the emotions of others. Furthermore, Daniel Goleman (1998) claims that people with high emotional intelligence are capable of achieving high performances. Absolutely, a high train of emotional intelligence distinguishes an individual as a attracter because an effective loss attracter should possess self-management skills and the ability to influence his followers.
Emotional intelligence is a key attribute toward improving the leader himself. A leader with high emotional intelligence is self-conscious, self-regulated, and motivated.
Firstly, self-awareness is native for a leader to know what he is good at and what he still has yet to learn. Goleman states that self-awareness enables an individual to generate a precise understanding of his emotions, strengths, weaknesses, needs, and drives (1998). Furthermore, leading with integrity can make up the leaders credibility because he is pass oning to subject his weakness in front of his followers. Definitely, people usually wonder and respect candor in the work places (Goleman, 1998).
