Chapter 4 will discuss the Reconstruction, Redemption, and African American Schooling. Lastly, Chapter 5 will focus on Open versus Restricted Immigration.
In Chapter 1, the Athenian society allowed citizens to equally share in the democratic cover through direct participation. The status of citizen is the most prominent Athenian social category and the commonality was they were adult males and born in Athens (S&S pg. 12).
