The Collegiate School of Memphis is a private, college preparative tutor, providing both Middle and thirdhand students with the highest quality education at heart a disciplined and caring environment. The school originally opened in 2008 catering to Middle students only, unless has since grown to include high school. The library had also a small start upon the schools opening. As a result of the slow start, the library has been in a state of continuous expansion to ensure that most literary and resource needs are met for Middle and Secondary teachers and students.
Reading and reading comprehension is at the center of Collegiate. It is by far considered the most important aspect of the curriculum, thereby making the library a key component of ensuring the mission and lot of the school are successful. The successful implementation of the librarys role can only be achieved with proper financing and a reimagining of the library.
A minimum bud wreak of $12, 000 should cover requisite improvements of the library for approximately 230 Middle and Secondary students for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year.
