The Kings Speech - Voice & Articulation
headspring\nWhat does the film, The big businessmans Speech, have to say about voice and articulation?\n\n answer\nThe Kings Speech is an Academy show winning movie establish on the life of the Duke of York, who struggled with a severe speech impediment. He could exhaustingly get a word out his it was so bad. Ashamed Bertie, after see numerous speech therapists, he left hopeless. He was certainly no one could heal him. With his wifes persistence, he went to see some other therapist, Lionel Logue, who came highly recommended, and whom his wife verbalize had unethical  methods of teaching. I was in all touched and inspired with this story. A prince, turned king, overcame something he struggled with his self-colored life by perseverance, hard work, dedication and friendship. The story takes break through in London, and focuses around a royal family who are intelligibly among the upper class. They lived in extensive palaces, wore lavish clothing and operate expensive ca rs. A British speech pattern is the only phrase I could recognize in the movie. It wasnt until later that I erudite the speech therapist, Lionel Logue, was Australian. I couldnt selection that up. I assume that because he has lived in London for so long, he picked up on the British accent. To me, a British accent is very distinguished. I know it when I judge it and its very easy for me to actualize. I actually find the accent quite pleasing to hear. It flows freely and harmonious.\nBertie, as his family called him, eventually became King George VI of England, after the oddment of his father, and abdication of his brother. As King, it was nearly important that Bertie speak coherently to the public. How else could a King lead with his public elsewise? Bertie practiced and practiced, five days per week with Lionel. They centre on breathing exercises and muscle builder relaxation. Lionel also delved into Berties past to understand and figure out the mental reason behind his stammer. Lionel said, no infant is born with a stammer....
