Assignment on character of Linda in death of a salesman

“Death of a salesman” is a popular play that was written by an equally popular American playwright Arthur Miller and released to the public on 10 February 1949. Upon release, so many people were swept of the ground out of their love of the play which democratized an ancient form of tragedy that was created. Without this tragedy, there would be no terror or shock in the play and the play would not have been exiting as it was. Not only does the story narrate the story of a man who is nearing the end of his life, and just then realizes that he had all along been on a pursuit of a goal that was very difficult to attain but was not even real. There are so many things about this play that can be analyzed and so many things that a student can be asked to analyze. One common assignment that so many students have been asked to complete is to write an essay Assignment on character of Linda in death of a salesman. Linda Loman this play is the wife of Willy Loman, whose house the whole action in the play takes place. Linda is one of the characters in the play who play a major role one of which is to shield her husband, Willy, from reality therefore allowing Willy to make mistakes without her helping him. Linda is perhaps the most controversial character in the whole play and appears to be on a mission to protect her husband’s emotions and dreams. Her pivotal role eventually affects Willy’s disposition.
