Bullying is not something you brush polish off your shoulder or ignore. The problem is that it happens every day both in the United States or out of the country. There hire been many deaths or suicide attempts throughout the years because of bullying. Bullying affects children from preschool throughout high school. In 2007 the statistics showed that 77% students have been bullied, today in 2009 it has increased to 82%. Grades fourth through 6th grade 23%, and grades sixth through tenth 17% have been bullied many times in 2009(Greg). The bullying statistics named the acme five worst states for bullying, California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Unfortunately these percentages probably wont get any better, if something doesnt stop bullying.
at present as I already said bullying let downs at a very young age, with biting, pinching and scratching. When kids get older, the signs of bullying ar teasing, taunting, and staring down at other students. Boys and girls get bullied different. Boys start out with threats, fights, or name calling. As for girls, they usually sound gossip about other girls or just mountt include them in their groups. As the students get older, the much violent they get, and sometime start carrying around weapons, such as guns.



Students who intentionally bully others should be held accountable for their actions (Olweus). The question is wherefore students bully:
1. Students who bully have strong subscribe tos for position and (negative) dominance.
2. Students who bully find satisfaction in causing damage and suffering to other students.
3. Students who bully are often rewarded in some way for their behavior with material or psychological(Olweus)
