Well, Im that little girl and this is my story. I was innate(p) in south Florida, my familey was like a band of gipsies so we moved around alot and my step-dad didnt believe in following the rules of society, so we didnt go to school. But I never loss my desire for instruction and thought myself to read at the age of six days old. Our mother had to work, so I took on the roles of cook, housekeeper, and babysitter. I do learning a game for my sister (even then I demanded to be a teacher). I really identfied with Eriksons theory. Erikson believed that thither are eight heads in human development (to which he added a ninth, old age, late in his life). He believed that each stage is important for the healthy development of the ego and a richly functional person. The core of Eriksons idea was what he called the epigenetic principal.

He believed that heredity and the environment have bidirectional influences on development. His stages say that we must gain certain insights at predetermined times, and those insights give on one another much like the floors of a new building going up. During each stage, we face a psychosocial crisis (that he later changed to opportunity and conflicting tendencies) that must be resolved. individually stage is like a turning point in life, offering both the potential for growth and the danger of failing.(Erikson, 1968) It was during my sixth year that I experienced a crisis as Erikson called it, that in some ways would forever leave me stuck on the fourth floor of my bulding.
